I have checked this out. Yes, your EWH:US moves similarly to the 2800:HK. But yours tracks the MSCI-HK components, while the 2800:HK tracks the Hang Seng Index components.

My guess, without prejudice, is that your choice of EWH does the job. But get clearance from your financial adviser first.

My Bloomberg is not working, so I cannot verify. Suggest that you just run a picture of this I share vs 2800:HK: if both move alike, then you are all right. I am not an ETF specialist, so do talk with your financial adviser first re if the US one "fits the bill", please.
