Korea: Jang reigns Kim - and how to make money off him
Our subscribers have received numerous updates on Korea - and how to make money off this the Dear Leader's bizarre, omnivorous behaviour.
Today we give you some more ideas about likely successors to our Dear Leader. This news is another reason why you will keep making money off what we suggest below.
These thoughts are from the Asian Wall Street Journal of 25th May, p. 1 and 19, "Succeeding Kim Jong Il". I will just report what they write, dropping any time-wasting qualifications such as "It seems as if..."
- Kim Jong Il (KJI) has three sons. The third, Kim Jong Un (KJU), is the likely heir once KJI is launched to the Happy Nuking Grounds.
- KJU is the son of KJI's third and favourite wife. KJI's problem is that she got killed in a 2004 car crash.
- KJU was educated in Bern, Switzerland, and loves Western pop stars.
- KJU probably is a member of the omnipotent National Defense Commission.
- Problem with KJU is his age: he is a mere 26.
- Therefore, KJI has appointed a transient Regent in the form of his brother in law, Jang Seong Taek (JST). He (JST) is married to KJI's youngest sister. JST is to take care of KJI's family interests until KJU can assume the mantle of power. So JST is to groom KJU.
- JST is also is a member of the North Korean National Defense Commission.
This week end, Korea has been conspicuous in her absence from any news, even on Al Jazeera! So something must be afoot.
For those of you who are worried, have a further look at gold, e.g. at the ETF PHAU:LN. It has risen by 23% since we recommended it in November, 2007.
